GLENDAN PARK QUARTERBACK Q027 (H)

Our homebred bull by Yavenvale Giteau, Quarterback sold for $76,000 to Supple and Lotus Herefords in our 2021 Sale. He is a good fronted bull who has proven himself to be a low-moderate birthweight bull with Top 1% Milk and Top 1% IMF – his IMF is amongst the highest in the country for horned bulls. Sons of Quarterback have sold up to $20,000 to Stud and commercial operations.

WARWICK COURT ROMA R111 (H)

We used Roma via AI in 2023 and then purchased him privately from Truro Herefords in 2024. Roma is a big, long and powerful bull and we are impressed with his yearling progeny who have great weight for age and bone. First sons for sale in 2026.

DEVON COURT ADVANCE R066 (H)

Advance was purchased for $32,000 in 2022, for his structural soundness, great disposition and is a meat machine – thick, deep and wide! Calves coming through are heavy at weaning with massive tops and deep bodies. First sons for sale in 2026.

 

QUAMBY PLAINS REAGENT R611 (PP)

Purchased in 2022 for $82,000 (in partnership with Tarcombe Herefords), Reagent has bred exceptionally long bodied, good fronted and sound cattle as well as passing on his high marbling. We are impressed with his daughters’ milk and udders. Reagent is a Trait Leader for Gestation Length and Scrotal Size, as well as Top 1% Fats and IMF.

CASCADE TOSCA T042 (PP)

Tosca was purchased in 2024 for $110,000 for his structural soundness, length, weight for age and balance. Combined with a good, sirey head and fantastic skin and hair. His strong data set indicates a moderate birthweight with high growth, big scrotal size and good doing ability. We are looking forward to his first calves on the ground in mid-2025.

QUAMBY PLAINS THUNDER T353 (PP)

Thunder was purchased for his balance, outlook, width and great skin and hair. His first calves are on the ground and are very consistent with good shape.

 

 

ENNERDALE CURRENCY S207 (PP)

Currency was a deep, fleshy bull who passed on his bone and depth to his progeny. Unfortunately we lost Currency in his first joining.

 

YAVENVALE SILVERSTONE S335 (PP)

Silverstone is a balanced sire with a good barrel, and maternally strong pedigree. Silverstone is in the Top 20% for eight traits on Breedplan, further adding to his appeal. He has been used successfully over heifers for two seasons.

ALLENDALE JACKAL P176 (PP)

Big, powerful, thick and easy doing, Jackal has bred some fantastic progeny, selling up to $45,000 into Stud and commercial herds. He is a Trait Leader for 200D, 400D, 600D and Scrotal Size. We have used the $45,000 son, GP Soprano S115 in our herd and is breeding well – he was the Grand Champion at the National Show and Sale (Wodonga) in 2023 and sold to Chris Lisle.

DAYS KENYA Q106 (PP)

Kenya has proven himself to be a problem free heifer bull and has passed on his length, depth, softness and muscle onto his calves. His first daughters are doing a good job on their calves. Kenya is a Trait Leader for BW, and also ranks highly for Calving Ease and IMF. 

VALMA TECHNICAL T020 (PP)

Technical is a long bodied, stylish yet powerful young bull, packed with performance. His pedigree includes maternal sires such as Yarawa South Paradise (sired by KCF Bennett Homeland) and NJW Trust 100W. We inspected Technical’s dam who was still active in the Valma herd at 11 years old. First calves are impressive and we are looking forward to the impact this sire will make.

TARCOMBE UNIQUE J142 (H)

Purchased at the Hereford National Show and Sale (Wodonga) in 2015, Unique’s dam comes from the Christine cow family that has bred extremely well at Tarcombe. Unique has similarly bred maternal strength and consistency in his progeny, combined with low birthweight and good growth. Our best milking horned cows are daughters of J142, including GP Quarterback’s dam. Another daughter is the highest female for Milk on Breedplan at +40.

YARRAM STAR GENERAL P154 (H)

Star General was a long bodied, low birthweight horned sire that passed on his same length and structural soundness to his progeny. He is a maternal brother to Yarram Lottery M089 who is breeding exceptionally well.

KAROONDA VIGGO P506 (H)

Viggo has stamped his calves with length, depth and consistency. We are really impressed with the Viggo daughters for their good udders and small teats.

WIRRUNA PAPA P149 (PP)

Purchased in 2021 for his excellent length of body, style, growth and good temperament, and passing all of that onto his progeny. Papa daughters milk well. He is a Trait Leader for Gestation Length and 400D.

GLENDAN PARK REAL DEAL R011 (PP)

Retained in herd by homebred sire GP Panama, Real Deal was a long bodied, sound bull who sired calves with a moderate birth weight and good growth and carcase data.

GLENDAN PARK PANAMA P004 (PP)

Our home bred bull that we used over heifers as a yearling in 2019. Panama later sold at the Hereford National Show and Sale (Wodonga) in 2020 to the Michelini family, Porepunkah. A very attractive, good fronted and soft bull with Top 1% IMF. 16 sons have sold to $70,000 and average $19,500.

RUSSLYNN JUMBUCK J19 (PP)

Jumbuck bred long bodied, stylish cattle with a bit more frame. Some functional daughters are still active in the herd.
